Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Bilal Malass ("I", "me", or "my") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit my portfolio website and use my services.

2. Information Collection

I collect information that you voluntarily provide to me when expressing an interest in obtaining information about my services. This may include:

  • Name and Email Address (via contact forms)
  • Project requirements and budget details

3. Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It is provided by Google, which acts as a data processor on my behalf and sets cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits. The Cookie Policy lists each cookie and how long it lasts.

What is collected: the pages you view and when, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device type, browser and screen size, and the site or search that referred you. I do not receive your IP address itself, and I never attempt to identify individual visitors.

Two actions are also recorded as events: a contact form that sends successfully, and a click on a WhatsApp link. Both record only that it happened and which part of the site it happened on. Nothing you typed is sent — not your name, your email, your message, nor the budget and timeline you selected. Those reach me by email and are stored in this site's own database, and go nowhere near Google.

Advertising and remarketing signals are switched off at the tag, not merely unused — this site runs no advertising, so Google is instructed not to store advertising identifiers or build personalisation profiles from your visit.

To opt out, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, use a content blocker, or install Google's official opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics does not affect any part of this site.

Note that the browser "Do Not Track" setting is not listed above on purpose: Google Analytics 4 does not act on it, so switching it on would not stop the collection described here. Only the three methods above actually do.
