1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you browse websites. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to the owners of the site.
2. How I use cookies
Two kinds, and no others.
One essential cookie, and only for me. Signing in to the admin area sets admin_session, which holds that login for 24 hours. If you are reading this as a visitor, it is never set for you — there is no account to sign in to, and nothing on the public site depends on it.
The contact form does not set a cookie. It is protected by a server-side origin check on submission rather than by a token stored in your browser.
Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 so I can see how many people visit and which pages are actually read:

I do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. This is enforced in the tag itself rather than left to chance: Google is instructed to deny advertising storage and personalisation before the first measurement is sent.
